Wine Spectator wine writer, Harvey Steiman, bestowed a 88 point rating on the 2006 Pinot Gris in the April 30, 2008 issue!
“Bright and juicy with grapefruit-accented pear flavors, lingering gently.” Mr. Steiman wrote the following regarding our other Wine By Joe wines:
2006 Pinot Noir – 86 Points “Spicy, with distinctive cinnamon and clove notes around the wispy core of plum fruit. Finishes a bit short, but what's there is nice. Drink now.”
2006 Pinot Blanc – 86 Points “Ripe and generous, but ultimately open-textured, with a custardy edge to the flavor profile, which centers on apple and toast. Drink now.”
2006 Jose’s Rose – 85 Points “A light, tangy, dry style of rosé, offering lime and strawberry flavors. Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Syrah. Drink now.”
